What’s the latest for London and area?
The Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU) is reporting 20 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and no deaths. The seven-day average case count is at 12, up from the previous day of 10.
The health unit posted 16 recoveries. There are now 107 known active cases in the London area.
There have been no new deaths reported by MLHU in 10 days.
COVID-19 in the region and beyond
Southwestern Public Health, which takes in Elgin-Oxord, reported six new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday and no deaths. There are currently 35 ongoing cases in the region. The majority of active cases are in Oxford County, with 17 in Woodstock. There are eight active cases in St. Thomas.
There were no new cases reported by Huron Perth Public Health. Nine of the 15 cases reported Monday were reassigned to another health unit. There are currently 19 ongoing cases in the region.
