Kathy Hilton accused of using homophobic slur by Real Housewives co-star Erika Jayne

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne reportedly publicly accuses co-star Kathy Hilton of using a homophobic slur off-camera during part three of the show’s reunion, which airs on Wednesday in the United States.

Per TMZ, Jayne, 51, claims Hilton, 63, aimed the slur at someone who was around the cast earlier in the show’s season, but the cameras were not filming at the time the alleged incident occurred.

Hilton, who denies Jayne’s claims, allegedly used the slur when the cast were in Aspen in Colorado.

“Production investigated Erika’s claim following the Aspen trip, but found it’s basically a case of she said, she said – Erika’s word against Kathy’s,” a source told the outlet of the incident’s aftermath.

According to the source, in the show’s upcoming episode – which reportedly shows Jayne accusing Hilton of using the epithet – Hilton is “adamant” she never said the slur and accuses Jayne of lying.

The source also claims that the cast was divided as to who to support, with Hilton’s sister Kyle Richards, 53, “sitting quietly” throughout the confrontation.

Prior to the current season of RHOBH airing – the show airs every Thursday in Australia on Binge – rumours that Hilton insulted Joshua Roberts, her co-star Sutton Stracke’s assistant, during the cast’s Aspen trip swirled.

When a fan asked Stracke if Hilton used “a slur when talking about your assistant”, Stracke, however, denied the rumours with an emphatic, “No.”

“When I saw that about Josh, that’s going to make me not happy because untruths need to be squashed,” Stracke later told Page Six. “And no one ever said that. Josh was not even in Aspen. This was ridiculous.”

In March, Stracke shared a photo of herself, Roberts and Hilton on Instagram, writing that Hilton “has been nothing but kind and respectful to him.”

The episode teaser suggests Hilton faces off against Jayne and Lisa Rinna, with Rinna describing Hilton’s “psychotic break” during an off-camera incident in Aspen as the catalyst.

Rinna, 59, claims during Hilton’s alleged meltdown, she called RHOBH co-stars Crystal Kung Minkoff and Stracke “pieces of s–t” and says they should be “f–king fired” from RHOBH. Rinna also claims that Hilton called Dorit Kemsley a “stupid, useless idiot” and threatened to “f–king ruin” Richards.

In a sit-down between Hilton, Rinna and Richards, the trio discusses the alleged meltdown, and Hilton apologised to Richards for what she said but did not admit to saying any specific phrases.

Sisters Hilton and Richards are believed to not be on good terms at the moment, with Richards telling Page Six recently she hoped they would be able to reunite.

”I mean, family’s family. You always come back together,” she told the outlet. “So I will always hold out that hope.”
