Bindi Irwin turns 23 on her first birthday as a mother
Bindi Irwin is 23!
The Crikey! It’s The Irwins star is celebrating her first birthday as a mother to daughter Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, who was born in March this year.
Bindi’s mother Terri Irwin was quick to wish her eldest child a happy birthday, posting to Twitter this morning a sweet message alongside an image of Bindi, Terri, and the late Steve Irwin.

“Happy birthday, beautiful Bindi. You have always been our greatest adventure!” the 57-year-old wrote, posting an image of Steve holding up a tiny Bindi.
Bindi’s husband of over a year Chandler Powell, 24, also wished his wife a happy birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Chandler shared an image of Bindi holding a smiling Grace as Chandler holds a turtle.
“Happy birthday to the most amazing woman I know. Wife, mother, and Wildlife Warrior. My favourite thing about you is your kind heart,” Chandler captioned his post.
“You dedicate each day to bringing happiness and love to everyone around you. Today it’s our turn to celebrate how incredible you are. I love you ❤️”
Chandler also shared an image of Bindi on the water cradling Grace in her arms to his Instagram Story.
Bindi responded to the posts in her own Instagram Story, pasting a sticker over one of them that said, “First birthday as a mama.”

She added, “I love you”, tagging her husband Chandler.
While Bindi’s brother Robert Irwin, who is known for his photography skills, has yet to share a tribute of his own, Australia Zoo yesterday penned a heartfelt message for the now 23-year-old.
“Tomorrow is @BindiSueIrwin’s first birthday as a mother💕 She has inspired the world with her kindness and passion for making the world a better place,” Australia Zoo wrote on Instagram.
