Kelly Clarkson can’t believe she gets to collaborate with Steve Martin on new album ‘Chemistry’: ‘I’m such a fan of his’

Kelly Clarkson’s upcoming 10th studio album chemistry Features a collaboration with Steve Martin.

Entertainment Weekly It was revealed last month that Martin had teamed up with Clarkson for the track “I Hate Luv”.

Clarkson then talked more about the collab in an interview with ET Canada’s Brittany Blair.

She said out loud, “I still can’t believe this happened!

Clarkson said, “I mention him in a song and this movie, and he’s an incredible banjo player and musician.”

The “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” hitmaker further added, “I was like ‘I wonder if he’ll play on it’ because it’s like a pop punk song, ‘I wonder if he’ll ‘ And she said yes! And I’m such a fan of hers.

“Movies can be really ingrained like a part of our lives and [they’re] So nostalgic, just like the music. And so, you know, to be able to work with someone who’s just been in my life, like visually, since I was a little girl, is incredible.

Given the success of Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez’s show “Only Murders in the Building” and the recent addition of Meryl Streep to the cast, Blair had to ask if Clarkson would ever join the show.

The singer insisted, “Girl, I’m not a great actor!

“When I really enjoy the cast I say yes. I just want the experience, but I just get so nervous,” admitting she doesn’t get nervous about singing or hosting her own talk show .

She insisted, “Never say never, because I sometimes say yes to random things that I usually never do. But I’m a fan of that show, a fan of that whole cast, Selena and Martin Short.” Am a fan
