Canada’s Olivier-Maxense Prosper Commits To Enter NBA Draft

Canada’s Olivier-Maxense Prosper Will Put His Name Into The 2023 NBA Draft And Will Not Return To Forward Marquette told ESPN on Friday.
ESPN’s Jonathan Givoni reported that the Montreal native could enter the first round on June 22 after a strong showing at the draft combine in Chicago.
“After speaking with my family, agents and evaluating the response I have received from the draft combine and my pro day, I have decided to put my name on hold,” Prosper said. “Teams say they’re really impressed with me and value my skill set and ability to impact the game on both ends. I’m ready to make that leap and go after it.
Marquette won the Big East regular-season and conference tournament titles last season with the six-foot-8 Prosper averaging 12.5 points in his third year at the school.
“My game translates really well to the NBA,” Prosper said. “This is a positional league, and wings like me who can guard multiple positions, run the floor, finish in transition and make catch-and-shoot threes that lead to winning plays and impact plays.” Let’s find ways to make it happen. Based on what I’ve been told, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be the first rounder.”
